Kammy Mae Edmunds was born to Tammy Coates and Garth Edmunds on December 7th 1982. She was the oldest of 4 children... This beautiful, spirited, spunky little girl turned into a strong willed, incredibly loving, amazing woman.
If there was one thing Kammy loved most, it was her family. Both blood and "adopted" She welcomed everyone she met with open arms and more love than they could have ever hoped for. Big sister to Megan, Lynsi, Kyle and Morgan... Adoptive big sister to many others. Cousin, Niece, Aunt, Friend, Mother, Daughter, Granddaughter, and great grand daughter are some of the titles Kammy proudly accepted. (And of course, AVID ROBBY GORDON FAN was also a title she loved to wear with great pride!!)
Kammy's biggest pride and joy came in the form of her two much loved children. Frankie and Sophya. She never let any accomplishment they made go unnoticed, no matter how big or small it was celebrated. She was the most incredible mother and her kids love her more than words can describe.
Kammy's beauty was not only on the outside, but she radiated inner beauty as well. She loved all those who came into her life regardless of what they had been through. Her arms were always open for a hug, her door always open to anyone out in the cold, her ears always ready to listen. She was truly a ray of sunshine placed on this earth to brighten the lives of everyone she touched.
On March 31st 2017 our lives were changed forever. Friends and Family were devastated with the news that our beloved Kammy Mae had been taken from us far too soon. So many people ask, and continue to ask the question... Why?... We may never know exactly why he took her from us, but we do know this... If her story can help someone in her same situation survive, then we have met our goal as a foundation and as a family.
